My dad was a county councilor for 20 years and I really wanted to take over for him. I was broken hearted when he passed away from a sudden heart attack. I wanted to follow in his footsteps and continue his legacy. I found this position advertised and thought that this would be the perfect opportunity for me to fulfill my goal of becoming a councilor. I applied for the job but was turned down because my dad was a dirty councilor and the one who had been caught red handed with gambling money. I didn't know what to do. I wanted someone who has respect for life and is passionate about helping people. So, with nothing left, I made an application video that detailed all my qualifications and my passion to serve the community as well as show how much he meant everything to me by sharing some clips of him talking during his interviews. They let me know that they loved my video and would love to see me succeed in this position.
